Less than 48 hours to go!

We've just had our last meeting tonight! Our next meeting will be at the airport! Team CAR is all set to go, and we're all really excited, stressed, nervous, busy,a bit anxious, excited, a little scared, oh yeah, and did I mention excited??!

For those who pray, please pray for Viv. Viv has been sick with the flu, and has had a fever for the last 5 days and was not able to make it to the meeting tonight.

Please also pray for Mel, who stacked it on her bike the other day and has been hobbling around on a sprained ankle, and abrasions on her hand and knees!

ONE week to go!

It's all set! Just some shopping to do and working out how we're going to pack everything we're buying into our luggage! =) Can you believe that we dapart in EXACTLY one week! This time next week, we will be going through customs at the airport!

On Sunday afternoon, we were officially commissioned! Along with Team Taiwan, the team was greatly encouraged to see so many of our family and friends at the service to pr. and send us off. It was also a buzz to meet new friends Colin and Stephen who have been pr.ing for us since we were all first interested in serving in Central Asia!

First Major Snow

The team received an exciting email last Friday from our friends in Central Asia - they got their first major dumping of snow for the season! And to add to the excitement, a video attachment was included, to give us a taste of what we're going to see and feel in exactly 2 weeks time!!! Yup, you got it - we leave Australia in 14 days! (considering that it is now just after midnight!) Here's the video!

And yes, you heard right, it was -3ÂșC! Brrrrrr...
