Reality Check

Since our supporters night, we now have a more solid idea of where we're staying, what sort of accommodation we've been able to get (3 comfy apartments with hot running water in the bathrooms!! Yay!!! =) ) and what we're going to be seeing and doing. These activites include:

helping out with craft activities at a kindergarten in the mornings;

organising the music for a church service;

health and nutrition talks with the youth and young mothers;

helping out with some microprocessing;

appearing as guests on an English radio programme!!

getting to know the locals at the bazaar

babysitting for some of the expat families

going on a hike during our day off

Our travel itinerary looks something like this:

28/11 - 29/11
Australia to KL, Central Asia.

1/12 - 11/12
a remote town where the majority of our work will be.

19/12 - 23/12
KL

24/12
Arrive home

It still seems a little surreal, but sooner or later, it's going to hit us like a tonne of bricks - we were all given our tickets on Sunday!!!!!

Please continue to pray for us as we continue to prepare for this unique trip of a lifetime, as we continue to sort out things like currency exchange, transit visits and visas.
